Over the past few weeks, Kevin McCloud has given us a peek behind the front doors of 20 architecturally awe-inspiring homes that made the cut for RIBA’s annual award and finally the winner has been revealed – Murphy House, Edinburgh.

Designed by architect Richard Murphy, the five-level house comprises a range of clever design surprises including a hidden bath in the master bedroom and a folding corner wall.
