Dundee’s best coffee shops

Dundee’s best coffee shops

2 Mins

Like every city, Dundee has its own string of independent coffee shops thriving in a competitive market. Here are three of our favourites.

Pacamara on Perth Road draws on inspiration from Melbourne’s café culture and is a coffee lover’s dream. Beans are roasted by Has Bean Coffee and the best selling Flat White sits alongside other Aussie inspired coffees like the Long Black and Piccolo. Breakfast is a joy too with pop-up specials like the newly created Blueberry Ricotta Hotcake, pictured. www.pacamara.co.uk.

Henry’s Coffee Houses

When it comes to buzz, Henry’s, owned by the Horne family, gives any of the big guns a run for their money. Great coffee and homemade cakes in unbeatable locations in City Square and the Seagate, both with free wifi. Look out for fruity summer special iced drinks. www.henryscoffeehouse.co.uk.

Cafe Mojo

At the far end of Brook Street in Broughty Ferry, newcomer Mojo is a cosy wee cafe offering fresh roasted coffee and crepes. You can go old school with sugar and lemon or blow the diet with a mountain of fresh fruit and cream. www.cafe-mojo.co.uk.
