The Wanderlust Life

The wanderlust life

For most, it’s a bit of bi-annual escapism and recuperation. But at the other end of the scale there’s those who’ve fully succumbed to the power of wanderlust, for whom travel is a constant itch that must be scratched. It’s called dromomania – the uncontrollable urge to wander; we’ve hand-picked four people with this uncontainable drive, a disparate bunch with only a well-stamped passport and a bounty of anecdotes in common.

The Hand Holder

Murad and Natalia Osmann are the creators of the #FollowMeTo photos, video guides and website. You know – the gorgeous couple whose hand-holding travel photos went spectacularly viral, inspiring exploration across the world.Read more here.

The Nomad Barber

Miguel Gutierrez is a barber, filmmaker and photographer with a passion for travelling. Combine them all and you get a web series on YouTube which documents the barbering trade around the world.Read more here.

The Wayfarer.

Angela Maxwell is walking around the world, that’s the long and short of it. There’s little more than a loose itinerary, a tent, $2,000, occasional donations and some basic supplies. On 02 May 2014, she set off from Oregon to England via Australia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Georgia, Turkey, Sardinia, Sicily and Scotland, and she’s still going.Find out more here.

The Adventure Photographer

Graham Niven from Edinburgh has just been shortlisted for the global contests Travel Photographer of The Year and Outdoor Photographer of The Year 2016. Check out his work here.
