The rules of entry

  • The awards are free to enter

  • Entrants/nominees must be over the age of 18 and live or work in Edinburgh or Glasgow
  • Entrants/nominees can enter as many categories as are relevant

  • All entries submitted must be legal
  • All entries will be shortlisted initially by i-on
  • All i-on shortlisted entries will go to a public vote
  • Shortlisted applications will receive promotional material from i-on and have full permission to use during the voting period
  • The top five shortlist will be made up of the five entrants in each category with the most votes
  • From the top five shortlisted in each category by public vote, i-on will select the top three to meet with the judges
  • The three finalists in each category must be available in Edinburgh on Thursday 24 August 2017 to give a five minute presentation and be judged by a panel of respected industry experts
  • One overall winner will be selected to win a £15,000 marketing campaign with i-on in 2018 – details to be discussed together at a date following the awards. No cash alternative, non-transferrable
  • i-on and the judges’ decision is final
  • Individual finalists will receive two free tickets to attend the winners’ party on Wednesday 13 September at Mansfield Traquair, Edinburgh, where the winners will be announced
  • To maintain the integrity of the awards, we would hope all finalists will attend the winners' party
  • The final six winners must be available on Friday 15 September 2017 for a photo shoot in Edinburgh
