Enjoy 2-4-1 on main courses at One Square in April
We've never needed a reason to visit One Square - the impeccable service and exquisite food make us regulars - but a brand new menu is certainly a good excuse...
Following his promotion to Executive Chef in December 2018, the first thing on Shaun Woodhouse's agenda was a complete overhaul of the One Square Bar and Brasserie menus, designed with the modern diner in mind. A firm believer in simplicity, Shaun's passion for the natural Scottish larder is evident. From Shetland salmon to prime steak, the focus is firmly on the finest Scottish ingredients and diners can expect exceptional flavours from the new dishes.
In a world where veganism and flexitarian diets have become an increasingly popular choice for people, Shaun has also created a new vegan menu and there's much to get excited about including a sublime aubergine falafel and curried onion burger with guacamole and dill gherkin served on a vegan bun and a tasty smoked tomato and butterbean stew.
A prime spot for theatre-goers thanks to it's Lothian Road location, Shaun has also launched a new Express Menu* - designed for those who might be short on time but don't want to compromise on great taste. The hardest decision diners will have to make here is choosing between the delicate salt baked beetroot, feta and water cress salad with baby caper dressing or the flavourful sea bass fillet with braised chicory, Voiletta potatoes and brown lemon butter. Just make sure you save space for the mouth-watering Malteser brownie with vanilla ice cream.
