Bursting with innovative dishes whilst remaining true to their emphasis on local provenance and seasonality, the summer Market Menu, launching 12 July, seriously impresses. And the price tag isn't bad either. From just £14.50* for two courses, diners can enjoy starters including including chicken and ham roulade served with a sweetcorn and chilli salsa with lime cream cheese.

Mains also compete for attention with dishes such as lamb shoulder with celeriac fondant and black olive tapenade and Sea bass with a lemon and herb crumb on a bed of red pepper, celery and courgette.

We'd also seriously recommend saving room for dessert as new head pastry chef Nikita has whipped up a treat to melt even the most savoury of hearts with Scottish Strawberry shortcake served with honey mascarpone cream, strawberry and lime jam on the menu. How could we resist?

*Prices start at £14.50 for a two course midweek lunch including tea or coffee; Pre-Theatre or Early Dining from £14.50 for two courses. Prices for Midweek Evenings from 7pm onwards cost £19.50 for two courses. Weekend lunchtime prices cost £42.50 per couple for three courses and include a bottle of wine to share or glass of house champagne each.
