Exclusive preview night at Fazenda on George Street
Inspired by the authentic churrascarias of Brazil where beef is slowly grilled over hot coals and then carved at the table, Fazenda offers a continuous tableside service of chicken and lamb, pork and beef prime cuts – including Fazenda’s signature Picanha cut, a juicy, tender and flavourful cap of rump popular in Brazil – alongside a gourmet salad bar with hot and cold dishes, salads, cured meats, continental cheese, sushi, some traditional dishes like Brazilian feijoada, all for a set price.
Diners eat at their own pace, with a start/stop signalling system on every table – green tells the chefs to bring out skewers of exceptionally well-cooked meats one by one, while red indicates a resting point – allowing you to take your time and enjoy your meal.
As you’d expect, the wine list is extensive and comprises both new and old world, plus a special selection of South American premium and aged wines. Fazenda is a class act, with luxurious furnishings, knowledgeable staff, and a sense of refinement.
