KT Tunstall

Celebrate Rabbie’s birthday on 25 January with KT Tunstall as she headlines the Big Burns Supper festival, 11 days of shows and events in Dumfries at the end of the month.


Ulster American

Following its sold-out world premiere in 2018, David Ireland’s explosive black comedy Ulster American returns to The Traverse from 20 February to 02 March ahead of an international tour. This one is NOT for the faint of heart.



Scottish Ballet kickstarts their 50th anniversary year with Spring! - a fun double bill featuring resident choreographer (and former i-on cover girl) Sophie Laplane’s new work Dextera. The show premieres in Inverness on 28 March before heading to Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.


V&A Dundee

Exploring the design and culture of videogames since the mid-2000s, the V&A’s spectacular new show Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt opens in Dundee on 20 April.


Manic Street Preachers

Indie stalwarts Manic Street Preachers pop up at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on 26 May as part of their This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours tour, marking the release of a 20th Year Collector’s Edition of their fifth album.


The Spice Girls

Posh might not be joining them but we still really, REALLY want tickets to watch Spice Girls’ long-awaited return to the stage at Murrayfield on 08 June.


The Beatles

Offering a rare insight into the life of The McCartneys as well as iconic images of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, and Eric Clapton, The Linda McCartney Retrospective makes its UK debut at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum on 05 July.


Foo Fighters

The ultimate rockers and unrivalled live performers Foo Fighters show up to party at Bellahouston Park as part of Glasgow Summer Sessions on 17 August.


Mamma Mia!

ABBA fans will be out in force as Mamma Mia! returns to Edinburgh Playhouse from 19 to 28 September kicking off the 20th anniversary tour of the worldwide smash hit musical.



Global superstar Cher appears at the Glasgow SSE Hydro on 28 October as part of her Here We Go Again tour, her first UK tour in 14 years. Tickets sold out almost as soon as they went on sale but keep your eyes on Gumtree, where we’ve already seen some pop up at face value.


The Chemical Brothers

Another hot ticket at the Hydro – The Chemical Brothers arrive in Glasgow on 23 November to celebrate the release of their ninth album No Geography.


Edinburgh's Christmas and Hogmanay
