What's on this weekend
August's festival fun might be over for another year but across the country things are starting to happen again, here's our top picks to make the most out of your weekend...
Visit the V&A Dundee
Three and a half years in the making, the V&A Dundee officially opened last weekend and it's a great day out. It's fab to have a dedicated design museum in Scotland with fantastic free exhibitions and a theatre set in the form of a giant pop-up book!
Have a good belly laugh at the Festival Theatre
Funny, frank and unapologetically filthy, you'll know her face from talking about cake and cats on the telly. Catch the hilarious Sarah Millican and her Control Enthusiast show on Saturday 22 and Sunday 24 September at the Festival Theatre.

Party at Skye Live
It's a long journey, but it's well worth making for one of the most distinctive and scenic festivals in Scotland. On a small park sticking out into the bay at Portree, Isle of Skye, expect a fusion of electronic and more traditional sounds, including Vessels, Pictish Trail, Denis Sulta and Or:La.
