Join The Caley's Moveable Food Fest at Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian

2 Mins

It's no secret that we're spoilt for choice when it comes to dining in the capital. Choice, of course, isn't a bad predicament to find yourself in, especially with so many enticing options.

And none more so than the dining rooms of Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian. To ease this conundrum, we'd recommend booking The Caley's Moveable Food Fest - a gastronomic tour of the restaurants, bars and lounges of The Caley, featuring a welcome drink and three courses, with two glasses of pairing wine, each served in a different venue of the iconic building.

The dynamic dining experience kicks off with a welcome cocktail at The Caley Bar, followed by a glass of wine and a refreshing starter of Isle of Wight tomatoes, homemade basil ricotta and ajo blanco by Head Chef Dan Ashmore at The Pompadour by Galvin. Then it's on to Galvin Brasserie de Luxe, the hotel’s casual bistro, for a main course of spring lamb loin, braised neck and petit pois à la française presented by Head Chef Jamie Knox with a glass of perfectly paired wine. The evening finishes on a sweet note, with a delicious dessert of Blacketyside strawberry cheesecake with fresh mint sorbet served at Peacock Alley, the hotel’s historic heart.

When? Thursday 06 June, 6.30pm - 9.30pm
Where? Starts off at The Caley Bar, Princes Street, EH 1 2AB
Tickets? £40pp + booking fee
