Glasgow Jazz Festival | 20 - 24 June
The Glasgow Jazz Festival has hosted some of the world's biggest names in jazz, blues and R&B and it's back in town this weekend bringing its annual supply of world-class musicians and upcoming superstars to the city. Headline acts Mr. Jukes, The Georgie Fame Family Trio and Orchestre Poly-Rythmo will all play the Old Fruitmarket.

Edinburgh International Film Festival | 20 June - 01 July
Bringing world premiers, new film talent and the very best in international film to the city, the Edinburgh International Film Festival reflects an excitingly diverse programme packed with vivid storytelling, interactive talks and special events including JAWS in Concert with John Williams’ iconic score played live by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

Gleneagles Glorious Garden Party | 24 June
It promises to be a glorious afternoon at the Gleneagles summer garden party this weekend. Guests will be entertained by vintage tennis and live jazz while they relax on the front lawn and enjoy Champagne and an afternoon tea picnic using delicious ingredients picked from the Gleneagles & Co artisan food range.

Royal Highland Show | 21 - 24 June
A highlight of the Scottish agricultural calendar, the four-day event offers visitors the opportunity to really experience rural life. Don't miss the exhibition of world class livestock featuring over 6,000 farm animals and horses and the biggest food festival in Scotland as well as a variety of live music over two stages and award-winning chefs in the cookery theatre.

Get a taste of Brazil | 23 June
The seventh annual Edinburgh Festival Carnival returns on 15 July bringing the dazzling spectacle to Princes Street Gardens with over 800 performers humming with the rhythms of salsa, African drummers and swirling pipes. Sounds like fun? Out of the Blue Drill Hall are recruiting volunteers to join the Carnival bloco by holding samba lessons on Sunday, 23 June from 4 - 7pm.
