The Glasgow Jazz Festival has hosted some of the world's biggest names in jazz, blues and R&B and it's back in town this weekend bringing its annual supply of world-class musicians and upcoming superstars to the city. Headline acts Mr. Jukes, The Georgie Fame Family Trio and Orchestre Poly-Rythmo will all play the Old Fruitmarket.

Edinburgh Festival Carnival 2017

The seventh annual Edinburgh Festival Carnival returns on 15 July bringing the dazzling spectacle to Princes Street Gardens with over 800 performers humming with the rhythms of salsa, African drummers and swirling pipes. Sounds like fun? Out of the Blue Drill Hall are recruiting volunteers to join the Carnival bloco by holding samba lessons on Sunday, 23 June from 4 - 7pm.
