If you’re a fan of cocktails then Edinburgh Cocktail Week, 15 - 21 October, should be a date in the diary for you and your friends next month.

The idea is simple yet ingenious – buy a wristband and enjoy £4 signature cocktails at over 80 of Edinburgh’s finest cocktail bars including Tigerlily, Harvey Nichols, The Printing Press and The Grand Cafe.

Edinburgh Cocktail Week Signature Cocktails

This year’s expanded format will see the brand new Cocktail Village at Festival Square as the social hub of the festival. Free to enter with an ECW wristband, it's the perfect place to catch-up with friends over a £4 cocktail (or two!) from this year's 15 pop-up bars including Edinburgh Gin, Grey Goose Vodka, St-Germain, Johnnie Walker and Poco Prosecco.

Events, masterclasses, parties

The week-long cocktail celebrations kick-off with an Absolut Porn Star Martini Party at 4042, and Gin Debauchery with Pickering’s Gin at Brewhemia. Other festival highlights include a Whisky themed Escape Room at Nightcap with Chivas Royal, and hands-on cocktail-making classes at the new ‘Secret Spirits Study’ pop-up on Queen Street – a masterclass hub by day and hidden underground bar by night, hosted by Wemyss Malts and Darnley’s Gin.

Your wristband also means you enjoy free entry to George Street’s top late-night venues including Lulu, Shanghai and the rcently refurbished Eastside, plus exclusive discounts at NOW by One Spa, Royal Mile Whiskies and Drinkmonger.

Wristbands are on sale now from £6 at edinburghcocktailweek.co.uk
