Magical Easter events at Archerfield Walled Garden

Magical Easter events at Archerfield Walled Garden

2 Mins

Want to spend some quality time with the family this Easter? Head along to the Archerfield Walled Garden where they’re enlisting the help of some friends to ensure the weekend is a magical one.

Follow the Fairy Trail around the woods and try to spot the tiny homes hidden in the trees, (remembering to whisper so you don’t scare the residents away). For those wanting to get to know the fairies even more, join the Fairy Godmother of Archerfield for special training in the art of potions and spells. Each budding fairy will receive a fairy training certificate and their very own special wand to take home.

You can also enjoy face painting and garden games, take part in the Easter fairy quiz to win a chocolate egg or try your luck in the giant Easter egg raffle. Plus, look out for the brand-new ice-cream bike doing the rounds.

Visitors are also invited to pop by the Garden Project to view the hard work of head gardener Erica Randall and her team, and can stop by the Garden Café for lunch. Grown ups can make a beeline for the foodmarket where they can stock up a selection of Archerfield craft ales, made at the on-site microbrewery.

Archerfield Walled Garden’s Fairy Trail will be open 9:30am-5pm over the Easter weekend. The Fairy Godmother training classes run every hour, 10am-4pm on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April. The classes cost £15 per child and booking is essential. To book, call 01620 388 588.
