As we sent this month's issue off to the printers it seemed hard to believe that exactly this time last year we were battling the Beast from the East. Here's hoping the better weather is here to stay because we've rounded up some great getaways on the East coast of Scotland on page 46 that you'll want to book now.

In celebration of International Women's Day on 08 March, we also chatted to three phenomenal local ladies, including BAFTA-winning actress Shauna Macdonald, about their inspiration on page 26.

This month we've teamed up with Hotel du Vin to offer one lucky i-on reader the chance to win a luxurious overnight stay for two complete with the full VIP treatment. Find details of how to enter on page 6.

Until next time, enjoy i-on!
