In fact, we were so pleased to hear about the recent opening of Bistro Deluxe by Paul Tamburrini at Macdonald Holyrood Hotel, Edinburgh, that we’ve teamed up with the lovely new restaurant to offer one lucky i-on reader the chance to win a tasting menu with matching wines for them and three guests of choice.
Tipped to be up there with the best of them, it’s the first restaurant for the renowned chef – previously known as chef director at Martin Wishart’s The Honours brasserie – and the food focuses on his signature blend of French cuisine and the finest Scottish ingredients, from up to 40-day hung Aberdeen Angus beef to Lindisfarne oysters and French rabbit.
The drinks list is equally as good as the food with an expertly curated wine menu including classic wines of the world and emerging greats, an imaginative selection of craft and artisan beers and cocktails served classic or with a twist.
